Questionare for music video with responses

The following responses are from Jonathan (20 years old) and Ryan (15 years old)

How do you feel about the audio not having any lyrics in, meaning that  no lip syncing is needed?

       - Normally music videos have lyrics, meaning that this is the convention that most follow. However, if you have a good story line and are able to tell a story in an effective way then it will work. From the rough cut I think that the story line does work and it will be just as affective as the ones with lyrics.

       -  Depending on the track used I think that it will work, given that the track is a house track and has a good beat, it will work very well that there are no lyrics. Just make sure that the story line works well. From the rough cut I believe that the audio is a strong song with a good bass that fits very well with the story line.

From our first cut do you think we chose the right type of story line and why do you think this?

        - I do think that the story line is right however, it needs to make sure that everyone realises what is going on in the video and why the person in the mask is doing what he is doing.

        - Yes i believe that the story line fits very well and they show it very well, and the timing also fits the audio very well.

How do you feel about the choice of location?

         - The choice of location fits very well to the abstract audio. Because it is set in the woods it gives a sense of them being lost, the track is called lost in Tokyo which fits very well if the woods give the impression that they are lost.

         - Because they set it in the woods it creates a very abstract feeling that fits very well with the audio track, also it creates the feeling that they are alone in the woods. This alone feeling is strengthened by the man in the mask because he is trying to preserve the woods.
