Director's evaluation of first cut

In this post I am going to evaluate the first cut that we made. From a first look there are lots of small tweaks that need to be made with the timing and the shots. One of the main problems is that the shot ratio and size changes. However, we are trying to edit this out and make it fit to the correct size all the way through.

We have managed to get most of the shots that we need but its just a case of putting them into the timeline and making it look good. When all of us were having a go at editing we all had to make sure that everything that we added to the timeline fitted and synced well with the timing of the audio track.

The shots of Josh wearing a mask help us create our story for the video. Because the song is called Lost in Tokyo it shows a very polluted world where someone is trying to stop the pollution but it all becomes too much for him.
